 How To Remove Apps From Your Android Device

We all have apps on Android that we don't use because they were tried the first time when they were installed and after that they stayed installed on the device. Did you know that these apps can consume device resources, let alone use storage space. Well, although the process of uninstalling apps from Android device is easy, there are a large number of users who don't know how to do it.


The apps you have installed on your device can be deleted from the Google Play Store or from outside. However, there is no official way to remove preinstalled apps, but you can disable some of them. If you want to uninstall preinstalled apps


How to remove apps from Android

There are two ways to uninstall apps from Android device, the first from the Google Play Store and the second through device settings, the steps of which differ slightly depending on the type of device. Therefore, in this explanation we will base ourselves on the first method.


Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device, then click on the Three Bars option located at the top to reveal the side menu. In the latter, press Option My apps and games "My Apps & Games".



Click on the installed tab "Installed" then find the application you want to remove from the list of applications that have appeared. Click on the application to remove it, then select the "Uninstall" button.



Confirm the uninstallation from the pop-up window by clicking the Uninstall button again. That's all, the app will be deleted after a few seconds from the device.


If not, another quick way to remove an app from Android is to hold down the app icon on the home screen and then tap on the Uninstall "Uninstall" option from the options that have appeared. (On some other types of phones, you need to click on an "App info" application information option then select the Uninstall option and confirm this in the pop-up window by clicking Ok.

How to disable apps on Android

Some apps cannot be uninstalled and most of the time the apps are preinstalled on Android, but there is always an option to disable them from your device. Disabling the app doesn't mean removing it from the device, just disabling it so it doesn't run in the background. Here's how to do it.


Open a "Settings" application on your Android device, then press Section "Apps" applications following the Manage applications "Manage apps". (On some other devices, you have to click on the Applications & Notifications "Apps & Notifications").


You will see a list of apps installed on your device. Select the app you want to deactivate. If your phone includes a Disable "Disbale" option click on it and confirm it in the popup so that it can be deactivated directly. If there is no option to deactivate, you can click on the Imposition of suspension button "Force Stop" Then select the Ok button in the small window.


Note: The app deactivation button is only present in modern versions of Android, but there is an option to force shutdown, but it can work if you open it or if it is used at from another application.
